Eat More Eels

Illustrator Daniel Clarke has produced a wonderful series of posters for independent traditional shops located around London. Each business has been plying their trade throughout the last century, and continue to do so today.  Each poster captures the uniqueness of each shop, whether it be the design, architecture, product range, or service that the shop offers.

Among the shops featured is our very own F. Cooke. Daniel has done a great job capturing the unique interior of the pie and mash shop, and also encourages you to 'Eat More Eels'. Daniel has also created  posters for fellow Broadway Market stalwart H. Tidiman, as well as the wonderful Pellicci's on Bethnal Green Road.

The return of Walbrook & Avon

This week sees the return of Walbrook & Avon. We are back on Broadway Market on Wednesday 10th October at 7pm, and we will be there every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday until Christmas. 

There is now a very noticeable chill in the air, and with it comes a need for warming food, and this week's menu has plenty of warmth.

After more than two years of pop-ups, supper clubs and events we are very proud and excited to open the doors of Walbrook & Avon, the restaurant.

Returning to where it all began in 2009 we are now at the wonderful F. Cooke pie and mash shop on Broadway Market every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening. We aim to bring the relaxed atmosphere, tasty food and friendly service of our previous events to Broadway Market three times a week. There will be a reasonably priced menu of three starters, mains and desserts each week, and we will be operating a 'bring your own' policy for drink.
