The Best W&A Yet

Sunday 28th March saw us pop-up for the third time, and it was our best outing yet. Celebrating the official start of British Summer Time we served a selection of starters from the marble-topped counter, pintxos style. The more relaxed, convivial start to the meal went down well and will definitely be repeated.

As ever we must thank Lucy for her wonderful graphics and calm, collected service. Jake again provided great music and lots of hard work. Rachel was our washer-upper supreme helping out with anything that needed doing, she was so good we'll be asking her to help again.

We'll probably be back in late April or early May, until then here are some photos of a very fun day. Thank you to everyone who was there, hopefully we will be feeding you again soon.

SOLD OUT - Sunday 28th March

We are very surprised to have to announce that the next Walbrook & Avon event on Sunday 28th March has sold out within just five days of tickets going on sale. In addition to the 35 covers that that have been sold (pending payment) we also have a reserve list in place.

We are planning to pop-up again in April and May so if you missed out this time be sure to keep an eye on the blog, Facebook or Twitter to make sure you're there at one of the next events.

Walbrook & Avon - celebrate the official start of British Summer Time in style


Following the success of our last event we are pleased to announce that we will be holding the next Walbrook & Avon from 14.30 on Sunday 28th March at F. Cooke on Broadway Market, Hackney.



Tickets, priced at £25 per person, are now on sale for our slightly revised Walbrook & Avon dinning experience. To help celebrate the end of an especially long and bitter winter Walbrook & Avon will be providing some San Sebastián inspired treats. We will start proceedings with Walbrook & Avon’s take on Pintxos (the Basques' tapas) served at the counter, before diners are seated for the main course and desert. As usual the £25 will include two alcoholic beverages.

Places are limited and to ensure fairness we operate on a first pay, first served basis.
